I have always found an excitement in the process of starting with an undefined malleable material such as clay or wax and refining the material into a shape, in the process giving it a presence and a sense of simplicity.Combining a meticulous approach to form, I allow the textures and surfaces to emerge often through accidental occurrences created in the process of glazing and firing.  I strive for each piece to have its own identity.
